The Catalyst Fund

The Catalyst Fund offers individuals with strong commitments to their local area, the opportunity to join with others to establish a long-term plan to fund community projects in the region.

The greatest benefit of the catalyst fund is that
every pound is spent on the community.
There are no admistrative fees!

How it Works

Individuals who wish to support their community via the Catalyst Fund subscribe to 'shares'. Each shareholder then has a direct influence on the focus of the fund. Currently priorities are:

Community facilities
Youth projects
Projects for people with disabilities

We make every effort to enable shareholders to meet the groups who have benefited from Catalyst Fund grants. This is done by invitations to special celebratory events or individually through pre-arranged visits.

Fees

Donors do not pay any administrative fees

Every pound donated by shareholders is used to directly benefit local causes, in accordance with priorities determined by the shareholders themselves.

Associated and core costs are covered by Gift Aid , whereby for every pound donated by a UK tax-payer the Foundation can claim 25p tax back from the government.
