A Story of Success
YUMI - York Unifying Multicultural Initiative - is a local, voluntary, intercultural network that works to bring different beliefs, lifestyles and cultures together to share talents, celebrate traditions and support one another in difference. The group has received a variety of grants from Two Ridings, which, as Founder and Project Coordinator Sasiki Hubberstey explains, have been essential to their success.
